Really? So why the bold print, paraphrasing (again :rolleyes: ) and making reference to someone else acknowledging a courtesy?
When I have phrased things poorly or inadvertently caused offence I think an apology is more appropriate - doesn't have to be a big deal, merit grovelling etc just an "Oops" or similar followed with a smiley.
As an ongoing thread is highlighting far more vehemently than me, it's very easy to misinterpret what people mean on a board and equally easy to reply in such a way as to sound dismissive and, frankly, rude (I'm no saint and admit being guilty of both

) Manners cost nothing and accusing people of being picky or over sensitive particularly over the phrase you used is IMO at best naive :(
