Sorry if I am starting another 'hot potato' but just wanted to share this article by Catherine O'Driscoll as it is dated today and mentions a UK working group investigation into canine and feline vaccination, although the author clearly has some doubts about the independence of the working group consultants.  It also discusses vaccination issues.  If anyone is interested, the article can be viewed on http://www.knowbetterdogfood.com/dogcare/health/overvaccination.php.

On a slightly different note, I understand that the modified live virus vaccinations given to dogs can be shed into the environment via urine and faeces and can then be passed on to unvaccinated dogs.  Before anyone shouts, I would like to point out that this fact seems to be agreed by both pro and anti vaccination parties!  What I can't find is any estimate of the level of risk to unvaccinated dogs - does anyone know?

Hi all,  Just a quick note to say I looked at the article again and now it is dated today, so maybe it isn't as up to date as I thought!  Does anyone know if the working group results have been published yet?  I haven't heard anything about it.
