Hi Everyone, 6 months on and we have made the big move from Kent up to Scotland and have now moved into our new house after being in rented accommodation for 5 months.  I am still surrounded by boxes but got connected to the internet yesterday, can't wait to hear what has been happening.

Barney, my mad blue roan cocker spaniel is now 17 months old and is doing really well, I had to change his food just before we left Kent as he just wasn't putting on any weight with the Burns, it was a struggle to get him to eat his dinner.  He is now on Natures Menu and is thriving.  We have tried to make the move as painless as possible for him and he has adjusted really well, he loves all the snow up in the hills and the mud on the building site

A lovely person indeed :D she was going to stop by and have a cuppa at my house en-route if you were in need of moving assistance and bring Dollop along to be reunited with his boy Koda :)

Koda will be 14 months on Sunday, doesn't time just fly.  I live in the North East (Durham) which is about two & a half hours from you.  Have you got any pictures of Taro I can see?? :)

I am originally from Edinburgh and OH from Glasgow  We are now slap bang in the middle of the two cities in West Lothian. Emptying boxes been put on hold far too many country parks and doggie walks to visit, can't wait for the warmer weather.  Everyone very friendly and helpful, where about in Scotland did you live?  My parents lived up in Moray, still try to get up there as much as possible, I love the beaches, so peaceful.

Hi again Jax, glad you're finally settled, a bit longer than you originally anticipated wasn't it?  Glad you've made the move and feel you made the right choice!  Good luck with the unpacking, that's always the worst part IMO! :)

Hi Kay, yes a couple of months longer than planned, the new house wasn't ready on time - not much of a surprise there!

Wow Jax , you were on hold for a bit of time. Least you are in now.   Glad everyone is being freindly and welcoming to you , it does make a big difference to a move.

I am not too far from you. Glenrothes. Just 15 mins north of the Bridge. A few of my in laws are in Musselburgh and Edinburgh.  We haven't been too mean to you with the weather have we ;-)  although a bit cold the last few days there's been plenty of sun.

Time for some dry weather though.

Hope you get settled in soon :-))
