Need some advice please. 8 days ago ordered a mobile from Fone Depot (£100). Should have arrived 3 days later. Still no Phone. I e mailed them them on Tues and got a reply saying delivery held up should be here thursday. Still not here. the money has not gone out of my account yet but I have tried since yesterday to contact them by e mail and phone but cant get any reply. the phone is for Heather and she needs it soon but I am worried if I get it from anywhere else the Fone Depot can still send out theirs as they have my switch card details. I spoke to bank but said they cannot do anything as money not yet taken out. they cant stop something that has not happened. any suggestions

If you tell them by email you have cancelled the order and they are no longer authorised to withdraw funds from your account then they are breaking the law if they do and your bank will be able to retrieve the money.

Also if they have not taken the money yet - cancel the card under the lost card line and they will not be able to draw anything from that card, you will get a new card with a new number in 2 or 3 days.
