I am going for the first time on saturday, and was just wondering what time it would be best to arrive?

EARLY!!!  especially Saturday the crowds will be HUGE!  Judging starts as early as 8.30am in some rings.

if only spectating, I think the earliest you can get in is 9:30.  However get to the doors by then, park car early to get close spot and it won't kill you to wait in the car awhile.  Take some bacon sarnies (ok they willl have to be cold) with you or something!!!

We went last year on a Thursday and it was really busy, it took us two and half hours from Derby to Birmingham in the car so this year we have decided to go by train!  You can easily spend a whole day getting around everything - shops, exhibitions etc. Its a brilliant day out if you love dogs!
