My collie X cassie has started producing green poo. She seems ok in her self & is eating ok. Any ideas out there?

Is she eating Tripe, or any vegetables (including grass), these will make the poo green for the same reason.

Green coloured dog chews also make poo spectacularly green.:-)

Horse poo has the same effect on Abby.

She is not eating tribe or vegs or horse muck. I will continue to monitor the situation before going to vets. Thanks for the replies.

It might be gastricentritious, they usually get green poo with this.  Keep an eye on her if no improvement take her to the vets.

Are you sure she is not eating anything with colourants in.  a lot of products contain a load of colourants.  I once gave a litter of pups some of those stick chews and they had a rainbow of colours coming out their bottom although until I realised this I nearly had them all down the vets.

Yes, I find multicoloured chews result in multi coloured poos too.

Ive seen some interesting colours from feeding Bakers. Never again!
