my dog is 8 yrs he has been unable to get on his legs for 2 weeks due to a severe infection of his leg

  and shoulder.  vet came in , gave him injection,painkillers.  I went to the vet a few days later and he

  prescribed ani/biotic. medication finished .He is bright enough but still cannot get up. I have been trying

  to lift him with help ( he is about 12 stone ) and massaging his legs. I would appreciate any advice
