the rain that is & boy did it arrive with a vengence, started on Saturday night & its just stopped this morning its been torrential!!! Everything was ok till we woke up on Monday morning & window in hall & the one over the loo in the bathroom is leaking in new house, but the old house was flooded in the sitting room & bathroom And wouldn`t you know Monday was a holiday & then workmen never turned up yesterday after saying they would, nothing new there then eh, workmen are same all round the world eh ;) I`ve spent the last 3dys going back & forth to old house brushing the water out & not only that but I missed eastenders last night thought oh well I`ll catch up on the repeat later but was to busy brushing water out I forgot!!!! ;(
Still, its giving us a break for now & its stopped at the mo :) but forcast is for lots more......

Snow here - raging blizzard - but someone has to keep the country running.....I'm going out now - may be gone for a while .....;)

I'm sick to death of snow and we've only had it a week I lived in Spain for 2 yrs, many yrs ago and boy, when it rained, did it rain. At that time the Spanish weren't very good with their drainage and sewer system and all hell used to "break loose" literally :D Some day I'm coming back for good (she says dreaming), used to live near Mijas and thats where I'm heading for :)

Ooo I`ve seen the snow on the tele Margot, talk about arctic weather

I don`t mind getting our share H/P just be nice have it spaced out instead of all at once monsoon style, like in a nice fine drizzle would suit me :D :D
