Hi guys,

Just had to tell someone, I've just had a letter published in the Radio Times. Yes, I know I'm very sad, but it was about a subject that is very dear to my heart. There was a program a couple of weeks ago called 'When your face doesn't fit', it was about 3 teenagers suffering from Neurofibromatosis which is a genetic condition that my son has.  The program was really inspiring and after it I decided to e-mail Radio Times so they could thank the editor for putting it on, it was a really great program.  Anyway, they obviously liked what I said 'cos they published the whole letter word for word.
It just goes to show that the 'big fish' sometimes take notice of the little ones!

For anyone that wants to read it, its in the 5th March issue, page 2 of the letters section at the top left hand side.

I only saw the last part of the programme - but how brave the young lad (about 17) was  - applying to university and wanting to 'carry on' as normal. He certainly deserves to achieve his ambitions :) Puts most of us to shame :)
