Hi What are you feeding him, how often and how much?
- By LindyLou [gb] Date 01.03.05 17:12 UTC
Has he been checked by a vet? He could have an allergy to what you are feeding him - or something wrong with him. Is he ok in himself otherwise? I'd give him natural yoghurt in his food as a starting point, but do take him to a vet for a checkup.

My best advise is to phone your vets immediately and get him looked at.  Faeces like treacle doesn't sound normal to me, and its sounds as if this has been going on for some time.

He is in danger of becoming dehydrated with constant diarrohea as you describe.

Would I detect that your dog has diarrhoea? Sorry guest but we are not mind readers! Try to use plain English and tell us a little of the symptoms "Pebble dashing" the walls might be descriptive but gives us nothing to work on. Age would be a good starting point. How long have you had him? What are you feeding him on? How is he in himself?

Answers in plain English please! I've already tried to puzzle out another post and still dont know if I've read it right.

Regards, John
