Unless your bitch is in a secure kennel and run that another dog cannot climb, jump or diog into then you run the risk of her getting pregnant.
As to the males attitude are you sure the bitch isn't in season? Many males can be a bit rampant with access to a femal even if she isn't in season, especially if she is not very bold. Usualy after she tells him off for it he wills top being do over excited (unless of course she is in season).
Your bitch has obviously not been properly socialised and trained in her short life and you shouldforget that she is a year old and treat ehr as an 8 week old puppy.
Bring her indoors and housetrain ehr by letting her out every hour while she is awake. Get her a crate or make her somewher that can be a den for her to ahve peace from the kids and the other dog. If she has always been outsdie the hustle and bustle, smells and noise indoors will be alien and frightening/disconcering for her.
By exposing her to all this, but not overdoing it (leave her to her own devices, and let her come to you and the kids for a fuss only if she wants. As she becomes more accustomed then she will want fussing more. If she is being over the top with the kids then she needs to be totally ignored until she calms down.
This will take a bit of work with the kids.
Referal through your vet to a reputable behaviourist or trainer expereinced in rehabilitating rescues will help you enormously as will reading good books about behaviour and how the dogs mind works. go for titles written in the last decade as ideas have changed and evolved quite a lot.
