hello - where and when is the bournemouth show - is it August ??

It's at Brockenhurst (New Park) on August 10, 11th and 12th. Call Mrs D Courtney 01258 857721 for a schedule. Well I presume she'll have schedules, she's the secretary.

Christchurch & New Forest Canine Society Open Show
is being held at New Park, Brockenhurst, Hants
on Tuesd 30th, Weds 31st July & Thurs 1st August.
First Day = Hounds & Gundogs
Second Day = Working/Pastoral/Terrier
Third Day = Toys & Utility
Held as part of the New Forest and Hampshire show.
Dog Show Entry does not entitle you to free access to the main showground.
Entries close June 5th.

Just heard that you are going to be judging Elkhounds as replacement judge. Hope you have a nice day, unfortunaely it is a show \i have never been too, as all my show lifts have always come from below Bristol!

Is this the Bournemouth and West Championship show or the new forest show? Only I live on the doorstep and the new forest show is usually the last week in july wed,thu,fri. The championship show is usually two weeks afterwards I could be wrong things might have changed as last year the new forest show kicked out the dog show and it was held in the grounds of Bealieu Motor Museum. But I think the show lost so much revenue from the dog show low and behold they invited it back this year but with a smaller patch and I'm not sure about parking and I don't think there are stands either. They all sound really negative points I know but there has been alot of controversy about the land the show is held on.

I'm glad it's still being held at new park then only last year they were trying to get it in Dorset somewhere. I'm actually going to brave this and take Buffy, I will enter her although probably won't show her because neither of us has had much experience. But at least it will give her the chance to meet other Mals and me to talk to the owners, and as the show is only a ten minute drive from my house it's the nearest I will ever get to a malamute meeting probably.
