Help my dog won't sit quietly in the car even when we are sitting in there with her! She will sit still, but the noise is 'orrible. On outward journeys to a walk she is the same, which we can understand as she does tend to be a bit excitable by nature! But after a walk when the car engine stops she immediately starts squealing even if we sit in & have a picnic she just cannot control herself! I'm at my wits end as we are limited to taking her anywhere! She spoils it for herself 'cos we tend to go short distances & are not able to stay out all day! We've tried loads of things but are unable to find a solution to this her only problem!!!

I had two JR's that never shut up in the car.  They drove me completely bonkers so in the end we got a cage and covered it with a blanket and although they would still have odd moments they were nowhere near as bad.  You could also try giving her some serene um tablets before setting off on long journeys to calm her.  Good luck I know how frustrating it can be.
