when out this week with my daughters we came across a japanese chin and all fell in love with this little dog. do they make good pets my girls are 12 and 9. the dog we met loved the girls are they all like this? how do i find a good breeder and how much do i need to save for the little darlings?

The ones I ahve met ahve been loely, even though I am not into short faced breeds.

One of the best things to do is contact the breed club.  They should be able to answer all the questions you have.  The other thing is to contact the kennel club.  They will be able to inform you of any litters.  Talk to as many breeder and owners as possible, visit these dogs at their homes if yiou find people willing to let you.  Any good breeder will sit 24/7 tell you about the breed and answering any questions you have.
