Hi
Charlie the rescue Westie has turned in to a right greedy little begger. He not only scoffs his food but also pushes the two other dogs out of the way to get to theirs. We now feed them apart but Charlie will howl and bark outside the room where the other 2 dogs are. How can we break this food addiction habit? We've tried a water spray on him but he thinks its a game and opens his mouth for a drink!
Outside meal times he is a really loving Westie but show him his food bowl and he goes completely mad.
HELP!!!

Personally, I'd leave him to bark - simply ignoring him until he is quiet, then reward him (NOT with food!). Do you know anything about his past - was he in kennels for any length of time?
Our dog was the same when we first got him but luckily we have no other dogs, so we would hold the bowl in front of him and say wait until he calmed down, he soon realised jumping around like a mad fool did not get him any food. Also when he knew the food was always going to be there he changed completely, now he eats till he is full and leaves the rest till he wants it. Poor little chap looked like he didn't get fed properly thats where i am guessing his feeding problem came from.
