Just seen a post about these tabs. What are they? Do they work? Where would you get them from?

Maltd kelp tablets are available from Dorwest herbshttp://www.dorwest.com

This is what it says in their catalogue: A traditional herbal remedy for the symptomatic relief of loss of appetite, poor hair growth and pigmentation in dogs and cats. This combination of kelp and malt is effective in stimulating the appetite of poor feeders and so helps them to gain bodyweight and condition.

There's more details at their website :)

I tried them with a dog i was looking after, she hardly ate a skerrick of food, didnt eat for 2 days in a row and then would gorge on the third, she was extremely picky about what she ate.She was just a nightmare to try and feed!! They did not work for her, however if you put "malted kelp tablets" in the search engine here you will find posts from people who they DID work for :)

Is your dog a poor eater?
