I have just purchased a Nissan Almera Tino.

I would like to buy a car crate for my Welsh Springer Spaniel.

Does anybody know where I can purchase a suitable crate.

Thanks a lot,

David

Hi Guest
you should join and then we can discuss exactly waht you are after :)
you can buy a crate for the car or you can buy custom made crates that make the optimum use of space etc- with emergency hatches etc

We bought ours from MMG and have no complaints (other than the price ;) )

Hi, ive bought 2 dog crates off ebay, brand new with galvanised trays with side and end door opening, click on the ebay shops tab and put in, dog cages, i think i bought mine from a member called Pet Shop Rugeley (u can type this in the shop name bit), they are also the cheapest i could find, i bought a 48" one for £49 and thats including 24 hour delivery and a "42 for £35, very cheap but high in quality and my dog loves it. Hope this helps.

Sorry, forgot to tell you, they also fold flat!

www.lintran.co.uk

Not cheap but will last a lifetime and stop hair getting into your car which wire cages don't.

I've just have my Kangoo fitted out with made to measure gaurds from BARJO.  I had Barjo in my Astra and wouldn't go anywhere else.  Excellent, friendly service and good prices.

Hi jackyjat,

Just looked that one up and it's a domain name site with links to some dog breeds etc   Do you have the correct name/URL ?

Thanks, Teri :)

Thanks for that Jackyjat ;)  They certainly look good and I can see that they'd be useful for minimising dirt, hair etc in the vehicle which is a big plus compared to most car cages.  Can you advise what you think of them re escape ease in event of an accident and also air flow etc for the dogs' comfort?  or pm me if you'd prefer.

Regards, Teri :)
