I am going to Darlington tomorrow and because of the weather will probably take the long way round A68, instead of A66, can someone tell me what the weather is like down there please. I will pick up the A1M from Newcastle. I am in Scotland at the moment and no snow. Many thanks

The weather forecast for overnight and tomorrow morning is dreadful :) Snow, more snow and then some snow as far as I am aware

When is it and where as haven't seen the forecast yet ? Have just looked at the metcheck link you left on the other thread and not alot for us :(

Did you check the WILL IT SNOW bit? Just put your area in there and have a look. Mostly over in the East and North East I think
I live about 20 mins from Darlington, it's snowing at the moment and the roads are still quite icey from the last couple of days worth of snow, have a safe journey.

Are you coming over Carter Bar? I'm in the cheviots and we have got horrendous snow. When it's like this here, Carter Bar is usually really tricky. Have a safe journey if you are going to go.

Hi everyone, I left home at 9.30 this morning and I am just home, only just. 8 hours to do a 200mile round trip. Left Lockerbie basking in glorious sunshine, and drove through driving snow, whiteouts and blizzards. Had a couple of little twirls along the way, but nothing serious, Hey what fun. And did it all again on the way home. Arrive home, no snow, no rain, and apparently a beautiful sunny day. You do realise EMILY ROSE ;) that this was all your fault :D :D :D
