Do you know of any in Cornwall, preferabally (sp?) in St Ives. Ive had a search but cant really find any. Anywhere in Cornwall would be ok, but I want to go back to St Ives, not been since I was a kid, and I loved it.
Regards
Ben :)
There is a book called Dogs Welcome which has a list of hotels and various other establishments that accept dogs. I think the library keep a copy and also you could do what my friend does which is put in St Ives dog friendly and you will get some come up on the internet that way. I love it there as well.

Hi
We're off tomorrow for a long weekend in Cornwall - 4 adults and six dogs! Had a nightmare trying to find anywhere but eventually have found a self-catering place called Helsbury Park. It is between Camelford and St Brewards on Bodmin Moor and consists of four barn conversions - 2 of which have dog proof gardens and one of those has slate floors throughout downstairs! It looks good on the web and the owners sound nice - hopefully it will be as good as it looks! Here is the url http://www.helsburypark.co.uk/
This looks great. Please report back after your stay. Have a nice weekend! :)

Bodmin Moor is stunning loads of great walking. The pub at St Breward is dog friendly as well, the food is good, the weather is ment to be good this weekend, so you're sure ave a good time, and take it easy and enjoy, as the Cornish like to, do it drekley ;)

Just to say our stay at the farmhouse in Helsbury Park was wonderful. The front garden is totally dog proof - even pointer proof! (Large grass area, rockery and gravel area.) The back garden was fine for the lab and clumbers, but I didn't trust my hooligan out there as one side of it comprised a low wall with a haha behind. (Had visions of him launching himself off the top!) We were able to walk across the parkland, along the river and through the woods which were great.....a few sheep about but at sufficient distance not to be a concern.) House itself was brilliant, and the location superb. Some great walks on the moor and some dog friendly beaches close by. We were the only people staying there, so were able to keep the gate onto the road closed at all times as a secondary precaution just in case anyone managed to do a 'Houdini' and escape......obviously, wouldn't be so easy to do if the other houses were occupied. However, that's probably just me being paranoid! :-)
All in all....highly recommended!
Sounds brilliant! It takes the worry out of a holiday if you know the garden is fully dog proof. We appear to have similar concerns about our respective hooligans! :D Which of the four houses did you stay in?
Thanks for reporting back!
Try the dogs trust web site, lists places to stay/eat/visit. All direct from dog owners, excelent to check on before a weekend away or a day out.
What are the prices, it looks really nice we always like to go to newquay and cornwall in the summer we normally stay in tents though.
