hi ive got a 6yo daschund called meg,i got her at the weekend,due to her owners emigrating.how often do you bath them and wats a good product to use on her? can you use johnsons baby shampoo on her? x

It would be better to use a good dog shampoo on her. ITs best not to bath too often as it can remove the natural oils from the coat. I bath mine about every 2-3 months (or more regularly if the have rolled in something or smell really bad!) If meg is long haired you may want to try a reputable groomer to keep her coat in good shape.
