ours sleep downstairs in the dining room, mainly because amber snores like thunder!! but because we were told that going up and downstairs is bad for a bullmastiffs legs, so we decided to play safe and they sleep on one huge padded bed, we bought two but they both sleep on the same one,

I have a Patterdale Terrier. I like him sleeping on the bed, it makes me laught when he wakes me up snoring, and when he has a face like a bag of spanners first thing when he wakes up! :D
I have 2 dogs - the collie X GSD sleeps downstairs and the Staffie sleeps upstairs. We did get him to try and stay down with the other dog, but he whines so loudly if he is not near me. He has his own bed but as soon as my other half gets up, he jumps on wanting a cuddle. Its really annoying as you may know, Staffies are pretty smell breeds (from their rear ends), maybe this is why the collie sleeps downstairs - to be able to get fresh air
Mine "Woofy Man" (Roman) sleeps upstairs with us, gets on the bed till we go to sleep then Hubby has to pick him up and put him on his bed as he is stubborn and won't get off!!! He's a GSD, 18 months old and has always been where we are in the house. No where is out of bounds, much to my Mum's horror !! LOL

We don't have stairs! :p Roxy (toy poodle) sleeps on our bed with us tho.

Used to be a dog free zone until pup arrived  Murf got the hump with it all and followd me to bed one night and the rest is history, Ella likes her cosy porch and won't be moved....thank god..... Callia sleeps in the kitchen and thats the way it will stay, one Briard in the bedroom scratching around and licking his bits all night is too much, let alone 2
My 2 SBT's sleep on me bed too, Dood, the older one is right lazy, weekends i am up at 8am but he dont get off me bed till about midday. Bruno tho, follows me everywhere, soon as i am up hes up aswell,
When my cocker spaniel Holly couldn't manage the stairs anymore - I slept downstairs with her on a futon in the dining room. She slept in my arms everynight with her head on the pillow. I no longer have her, so I treasure the memory

Hiya
woody does I(lab), has done since he was 8 weeks, and he came home. His crates in our bedroom. Im dying to leave the door open. So that he's not confined. Hes 6 months old today. But everytime i leave the door open. He jumps on the bed. I wouldnt mind if he settled down and went to sleep. But he wants to lie on your head. And chew your hair, face, ears, eyes, mouth etc . He thinks bedtime, on the bed is fun, and its also the pumping in yer face that does me.

All of my dogs sleep upstairs,i have 3 CKCS, my ten year old bitch sleeps on my bed, my other two sleep in their puppy pen ( I bought the wrong size pen you could fit two full size GSD in it, it takes up half of the bedroom). I would not have my ten year old sleep anywhere else as she suffers occasionally with seizures and I like to be on hand when she is ill.
