My 4 month old Labrador loves water more than anything, even food. However he has only really splashed around in our bath and in a muddy moat. There aren't many safe places he can swim where we live. I can't wait to let him have aproper swim. Does anyone know where are nearest doggy swimming pool is? We are in Liverpool.

dunno about your area,but flynn goes each week & totaLLY LOVES IT, & it means your dog gets a wash too!
if its "just for fun" try to find a large one or a circluar one as some are just a big tank where the dog has to swim on the spot

We have an intex swimming pool you know the big one with the ladders, pump . It was my daugthers but she never uses it so we set it up in the warmer weather and let all the dogs go in it ( never unsupervised).

You want to see our westies, I near wet myself, I watch them carefully though and lift them in and out. Our lab well she gets out regardless along with about 20 gallons of water.

Last year my hubby and I were in with them. never laughed so much in my life.

Michelle how much do they charge you to take Flynn swimming? I'm looking for somewhere either in Bath and Bristol, for one of them have just been quoted £19.50 per session - I cant afford that! How long does Flynn swim for?

There is a pool in leyland nr Preston it is called swim safe,the lady who runs it has labs i met her at a fun dog show in aid of lab rescue,tel no will be in yellow pages.
