I have a 11 year old collie x GSD who is normally really active, but recently has become really lethargic. He used to dart around the woods playing with other dogs and chasing squirrels, but now he has become really slow, its like he has no energy. He recently had a bit of a wheezing cough and puffy eyes like he had a cold. I am really worried as he is not normally like this and I know that something is wrong. Its like he is depressed.
Do you have any clues or solutions that will help pick him up.

I would recommend you pop him along to the vet-it's usually the best course of action if you are concerned about him!  He'll more than likely be back to rights in no time, but the vet is the best place to get a good diagnosis rather than us on here.  Hope he's feeling better soon! :)

Going to take him tonight, but wondered if this has happened to anyone else. My poor dog has been at the vet so much in his life, I should have my own incoming phone line there. At least I bought him a new comfortable bed last week.
