We have a 9 week old SBT.  SHe is very lively, but seems to be good natured.  She does nip, and bit, but we are putting that down to puppy behavior, and HOPEFULLY she will get over it.  We are also trying to teach her its bad.

NOW , my sister has a 3 year old westie, obvioulsy we would like them both to get on, and will soom be introducing them................ BUT  Whats the best method of introducing them, both on leads, in house, in garden, whos house, ours or theirs, with tooys, without toys etc etc.......................

i would bring the older dog to your house that way it wont react teritorial.i wouldnt have toys around as this could cause conflick.when i introduced my pup to our older dog she acted a bit controlling but she was just showing the pup who was boss now she mothers her.

And dont worry about the puppy nipping its very normal, it can go on for a while, staffs can genrally be mouthy, not that it should be allowed. You sound like you really love her, ibet she will love you back even more !

we do love her.  Its incredable, that even after the first evening , we were in love.  She is mad, makes us laugh and cry !!!!!

We are still both a bit lost , not knowing whats the norm, or not, what we should be doing etc etc.Im finding the advise from here is great.  Whether we post a thread, or just read with interest what other poeple are saying / going through.its great and a wonderful tool.
