I was just reading through the missing dogs page and read one about a lab that had runaway from home. It just made me chuckle about our dog. Yesterday  my oh irresponsibly left the front door ajar by accident. I went downstairs and saw the door open and dog missing and started to panic. Just at this point my sister pulled up on our drive and Tyler came running in to see her, she said he had just been sitting on next doors garden, bless him don't think we could lose him if we tried. I thought he would have been off like a shot, we have only had him about 2 months but i think he must like his new home.

When our youngest was about 4 months old, we had a right panic because we couldn't find him anywhere-searched the house and garden and then started accusing eachother of leaving a door open as we thought he had obviously got out and gone off for a wander.  Picture OH and myself heading for the door to start a search when who should appear from the impossibly small spot (even for a 4 month Cocker) behind one of the sofas-he'd disappeared back there for a quiet snooze, oblivious to the commotion he had caused by his absence!  Now if I 'misplace' one, I just have a quick check in one of the less-obvious napping spots and generally find him enjoying the peace and quiet! :D

Years and years ago, when we had our CKCS puppy, we thought we had lost him.  We called him for about 1 hour, and couldnt find him.  We were all panicking when my sister said: "come into my room", and there he was, curled up on her bed!  The reason we hadn't seen him was because he was camouflaged in a big pile of stuffed toys! :D

I once thought I had lost a puppy from a litter we had
She just seemed to be nowhere at all and I was absolutely frantic. We searched everywhere possible and she was no-where...then she just appeared and was fast asleep in the middle of the lounge!
I have no idea where she was for that half an hour!
