I have an 18 month old German Shepherd girl - who is 27 kilo. She looks fine and gorgeous, but quite lean!! Very fit, and feel sure that her 'leaness' is due to her being young and active.
She is fed the BARF natural diet, but I would like to start adding something that would help give her a little more 'substance'! (Is cooked pasta ok)?
Any ideas, suggestions (or comments on weight and age) would be most welcome.
THANK YOU

Green tripe ,lamb breast, pork crackling, marrow scraped out of a marrow bone, lamb shanks. All of these things are good if you want to add body to your dog,i'm sure there are heaps more but i cant think of them at the minute,it's tooo early :D
You could try adding pasta, but not too much as grains arent really a good or natural thing to feed dogs in excess.
You could also try adding some oils to her food such as salmon oil, safflower oil or olive oil, these also have the added bonus of keeping their skin and coat healthy.
Guest why dont you join so you can give us more info. :)
