Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Burns and Moulting
- By mrs mop [gb] Date 11.02.05 13:35 UTC
I've just rung Burns Dog food about a routine food question, and they asked me whether the dog was moulting excessively.  Molly sheds a lot of hair all the time, I brush her really well every day too.  Burns suggested  that it could be due to the protein source,  ie chicken in the chicken and rice variety and that it would be a good idea to try one of the other varieties.  Anyone come across this before?  They couldn't say which variety might be better, just a processs of elimination.  Has anyone had any experience  with the other flavours  of Burns.

thanks

Hi Mrs Mop :) - My girl has the Venison & Rice for her meals and then Fish & Brown Rice kibble for treat balls/training tit bits etc. She loves them both......however, I have not noticed any difference in the level of her moulting since she's been on Burns (10 months).
Take Care
Jo

No difference here either.  We use nearly all of the varieties although cant get the venison one where we shop at.
