i have a red female and a white male with 2 tan patches i was wondering what colour would be more domanating?

You really need to find out what the colours are in most of the pedigree, as there is much more to it than just the parents colours. For instance I bred together two blacks, not Staffies, and got one black and one silver buff. (American Cockers)

Also it depends on what is meant by "red".  There are three different genes which produce a colour known as red.  Knowing the breed would be useful - red in a Border Collie is entirely different to red in a Terrier.

i have a red staffy female and a nearly all white male staffy but he has 2 tan patches on him my female in pregnant and i was wondering what colour the pups might be does anyone know if they will be white or red or will there be other colours ?

The red should be more dominate over the white so you will find you're likely to have a litter of mainly red and white pieds but one or two of the pups may be nearly all white.
