could someone please tell me how many pups in a average size staffy litter and also can you please tell me in the days leading up to my girl whelping how will she act/behave

i have a bitch that is at day 41, she is sleeping more than usual, very very clingy and her appertite is up and down. i have been told average litter is five. Her stomach has definetly got bigger. but could anyone tell me what size the pups are at this stage?
