Saw the first swallow day before yesterday & then yesterday while hanging the washing out a load of big birds, couldn`t see what type cos didn`t have glasses on but looked like migrating.
Think the weathers gone mad, its a bit early for this

What is your weather like? we are looking to book a holiday somewhere for 2wks in March and want a bit of sunshine! the whole planet seems to have gone mad weather wise so we haven't a clue where to go,but we would rather not fly for hours to find the sun.

Hi Porkie, this morning is lovely blue sky & sunshine but cold, probably a bit warmer in built up areas tho :D
It`s just been too unpredictable to tell, like yesterday was horrible, dull overcast windy as hell & looked like rain but then brightened up in afternnon! We`ve been getting blasts of real cold weather from the arctic for a few wks now with hardly any rain, very strange. Maybe by March it will have gone back to normal....or maybe the rains will come, wish I knew :D

It must be sooo hard for you living their Christine :d  Just think of all of those sunny days that you'll have shortly, whilst we will still be sat her shivering in wonderful England!  Do you want to swap places ?

After headlines about the earliest spring in Scotland, we have snowdrops and crocuses blooming, birds singing at uneaarthly hours of morning - and snow with a severe weather warning. Great. can't beat Scotland for contrasts. :)

Crazy isn`t it???? My daffs are budding & we`ve got frost yet again this morning. Same here with the small song birds, flying all round & being very vocal...... it`s nice tho :D :D
