what combination of clothes if any do you have to wear for shows?

I wear I nice suit that compliments my dog.  IE with my red andn white setters I will where A black suit, however with my black tri aussies I will wear a light colour.

The suit doesn't have to be expensive, but washable is a must (dryclean will cost fortune after each show!!!!!!!!!!!! :D )

Also try maybe trousers and jacket rather then a full suit.

Also comfey shoes are also a must and life is alot easier with long hair tied back!

No problem!

My cheepest suit only cost me £9!  It's a suit to be proud of and thats what I mean about doesn't have to be expensive, save as much money for decent shoes that you will be standing/walking/possibly running in for a day!

What breed have you got Frank...maybe we can be a bit more specific since it does vary greatly from breed to breed

I only show once a year and that in a particular ring so its, starting at the bottom, Brown Boots, Gun Stockings, red Garter Flashes, Tweed Breeks, Tattersall check shirt, Pheasant tie and an Acme 211.5

We have black labs - and my daughters have various ensembles - ie light Blue Suit with navy tshir, Grey pinstripe trousers and grey top, chocolate suit, or beige jacket and chocolate trousers. Our best find was in Yorkshire, where we got a lovely suit for my eldest daughter for 17.50.

John has it easy really, but I am told he also wears a Kilt!!!!!!

MankPat, the day comes where I have a top that goes with my suit! :D  I have the suits, and pull a t-shirt out the draw that will compliment the suit, normally mathching the shoes!
