I am sorry if this subject has been mentioned before but i was chatting to my friend today  and she had just taken her dog to the vets. Her male accidently had a slip mating with her bitch so she had to have the abortion shot. The vet then told her that her bitch is unlikely to get pregent next season and i was just wondering if anyone has had this and did it affect the next mating thanx!

One of my girls escaped during her season and a neighbour had locked her in their garden with his dog!!!!!  We took her to the vet for the injection, had her mated 2 seasons later and it didn't affect her in any way..........the injection brings them back into season , so you have to be careful again!

my goldie had an accidental mating, it resulted in one puppy after having the jab too!
