I'm not sure where to post this...
first, i'd like to say that i came here to post my question, but i think, no i'm sure i'm gonna stay and read some more :-)
someone advised me to post my question here, so here it goes:
I'm from Belgium, and will be coming to the crufts show for the first time this year.
We will be staying from wednesday till monday, because we want to see our (belgian) friends show their dog on thursday, and we want to go to the Best In Show on Sunday. Unfortunately, I didn't know that it was so hard to get tickets to this BIS, when I first looked to buy, they were allready sold out ...
I've been following them on ebay, but the prices are really mad...
so, if anyone can help me on how and where I could get tickets at a reasonable price, I would be very very thankfull and happy !!!
hoping for the best....

Welcome.  You might be lucky if someone has BIS tickets, but unfortantly many of those who have them keep them, or will flog them for high prices!!!  Good luck anyway.

Firstly...welcome to Champdogs.
Secondly...I think you're going to be hard pushed to get tickets for BIS at all I'm afraid...thats why they are so expensive on ebay.
Thirdly.....enjoy Crufts...its a wonderful experience unlike any thing else in the dog show world! 21,000+ dogs.....bliss!!!!!

Also don't worry too much because it you are in the halls you can still watch the BIS and groups on the big (massive) screen TV's set up all over the place, not the same but you won't miss anything.

Have a great Crufts

EVen if you can't get into the ring to see it they ahve the huge screens showing themain ring goings on outside the ring.  I know as the Elkhound ring is next to it. :D

On year the poor dogs though that there were giant colies runing at them when the agility was being shown.  Soem ot the pups were a bit surprised to say the least :D

If you are there on the Thursday you can see our breed, and go into the main rign to watch the inter regional Obedience competiion in the main ring, as you can go in freely except for the Best In show.

You will need a couple of days ta the show to get to see much as it is very busy and crowded.

There are nearly 23,500 dogs entered for teh breed judging alone.

It seems like we'll be needing our four days !!

I'm going on the Thursday to hounds and terriers and I can't wait.  I went last year to Crufts for the first time and I couldn't believe how many dogs were there!  My faves are borders, deerhounds and wolfhounds but I do have a very soft spot for Elkhounds as we used to live next door to a very old one when we were children and we thought it was a hyeana (sp?) :D

Well I am one of the lucky people to have a ticket for BIS.  My first time ever to Crufts after being let down for the past two years to go with someone so this year have decided to go my own all day on Sunday.  Long old drive but what the hell.  I can't wait!

I did look on ebay at the weekend and one ticket went for £53.00.  Ridiculous.  I paid £13 on 29th December.
