I've been posting without introducing myself. Sorry for that!
My name is Wendy and I live in the Netherlands.
On March 10th my father and I will be picking up our new Flatcoated retriever pup
in the UK.
The pup is for my parents. They sadly lost their FCR last December and they miss him terribly.

I'm reading up on things since it's been a while since there has been a pup (over 8 years) and just to learn
more about the dogs (can't read enough right!)

So that's just a bit about myself.
I like the forum. See a lot of people who are passionate about their beloved dogs.
And I have found a lot of info so far. Hope to find even more in the future.

Iguana is the name I usually have on the Internet.
It's due to one of my passions...Iguana's
I have just 1 iguana at the moment (had 5 of them but 4 went away with my ex partner,
trust me since than all animals that came into my house are now registered on my name :) )
Have 2 siamese cats.
Haven't got a dog sorry to say. But I live in an appartment in the city and work at least 40 hours a week with 10 hours of travel from home to work. So no way I could take care of a dog like you should.

But I will be able to enjoy my parents dog ..so that's a good thing ! :)
