can anyone give advise of any Schipperke's that need a good, loving home in the Brighton Area, East Sussex? or of any rescue organisations in the South East Area.?

Mrs Lesley Thorne 0161 799 4251 is the co-ordinator of schip rescue, if you go to schipperke club website for the uk you will find the breed club secretary too.  I am almost sure you will have to travel, there are no rescues advertised at present, but Lesley is coming to see me tomorrow evening my number is on this site in the breeders list under Shellkirma if you want to try her after 7pm.

I have a beautiful male schipperke that is just 4 years old. I am seeking a loving home for him as, after the death of my husband, I had to take a full time job. He is now very miserable being left on his own all day. I love him very much but know that I can't look after him in the way he needs.

He's a lovely little chap but is not keen on children.

I live in the New Forest area in Hampshire.

Try contacting his breeder (who should be happy to help) or schipperke rescue.

Anne I have had a call from the old rescue co-ordinator's wife, her husband died from bowel cancer a while back, whom you spoke with this morning and understand that you have already been advised that schipperke rescue cannot help you due to the fact that your dog is NOT a schipperke ie his father was a terrier of some sort.  Plus you were advised to go and talk with your dogs breeder as has already been stated on here please give her a try as it is her responsibility not schpperke rescues, alternatively contact one of your local all breed rescues for assistance.
