My dog has been sick 3 times in since yesterday for no apparent reason. He is fine in himself, appears to have no abdominal pain and is full of beans. No food changes (I feed barf), no stress, nothing unususal at all. Any ideas before I take him to the vets?

Hi Claire, I`d keep him off food till tomorrow & see what he`s like then. Let him drink but only moderately, you could put a tsp of honey in it, try keeping him a bit quiet if you can.
Could be loads of reasons why but fortunately most of the time its nothing & if he gets noticeably worse with d/rear etc then call your vet. With a bit of luck he`ll be back to normal tomorrow :)

Thanks Christine. He is fine now. I had already decided not to feed him last night, but he ran as per usual at agility. I have only given him mashed potato tonight and when I let him out he went to the toilet and was solid again. No more vomiting either. I think it was another case of me being paranoid! He's my baby!
