:-(

No more comment needed except why 2 dogs and why is age of the dog more important than its breeding?????

As you are posting on a message board I can only infer that you have not doen a lot of research into the breed, otherwise you would already have a list of potential candidates for your bitch from the dogs you have seen at shows, or whose offspring you have admired.

There is an awful lot more to breeding than just putting two dogs of the same breed together, this is the reason there are so many badly bred Staffs in rescue and the wrong hands at present.  I am sure you won't wish to add to their number.

I would advise you to join, and attend some of the shows run by the various Staff breed clubs.  You should allow at least the nextr 6 months or a year for the proper reseacrh, so I would forget this season, perhaps use the time to train and show the bitch?

Teh kennel club weebsite has the breed standard with the list of breed clubs at the bottom of the page.

http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk

click on the left on 'Breed Standards' then on teh nTerrier Group, and then the Staff standard.

Also on the left click on 'Information Guides'  and go down thhe link 'Breeding from your bitch' and the others too.  You will need Acrobat reader for these files as they are PDF files
