Many thanks for recomending damiana & kola tablets. I have ordered some and will let you know the outcome after Nat.Gundog.

The showday regime you describe is more or less my usual routine. I have only been experimenting recently with feeding and exercise to try to find an answer. I will now go back to normal!
Thanks, both of you for your help.

Hi Tucker, Thanks for your reply, Can't remember if your dog is a bitch, if you see what I mean, if so is she due in season as the temperment can change. Hope your exhibit soon returns to normal, I would take advice from your fellow exhibitors some of who must have had the same probs. If all else fails perhaps you will have to consider just doing local shows for a while, making the whole thing fun and forget about the champ. show for a while. The more your dog plays up the more tense or cross you will get, it could be the trouble is on your end of the lead.
