I have asked previously for examples of stud contracts but the ones I have seen are from the USA. Do any breeders on here have a more UK looking contract that is slightly less formal and wordy than the examples I have come up with on a search.I know roughly want I want to say but done want to leave anything out.
Thabks for your anticipated help.
Diane
PS I need it pretty quick!

I dont know if this would be of any help but the British dalmatian club do books of stud book contracts which you obviously have to buy which just about sum up all you would need to include.  I suppose you could get one and adapt it to your own needs.  They are availible for the club secretary whos details are on the dalmatian telegraph or british dalmatian club website.  I always use them.

Hope this helps

I will be having my female studded for the first time. how can i garauntee to the breeder that my dog has had a litter and how many? I cant blame the breeder I understand perfectly there are some in our society that would or could say there was no take or if they had more out of a litter and wanted to try and lead the sires owner to believe there were less. what was agreed upon was pick of litter no fee. Can someone assist me?

Well the stud owner will ahve to sign the litter registration foirm, so the only way to cheat the sires owner would be if a litter were born and not registered, whcioh would rather defeat the object.

Most stud owners will sign the form wehn they ahve been paid, in the case of a puppy as fee they may have to take it on trust as pups would nortmally be registered before homing, but if they didn't trust you that far you might have to register teh pusp later and give the new pups owners leters telling them the KC reg would follow.  Another way would be simply to pay the stud fee, at mating, and then the stud owner could buy the puppy they wanted from you.

If you still want the the British Dalmatian Club ones the phone number of the secretary is 01543 490849. I think it just prevents misunderstandings later on.
