A know it all at my work has told me that apparently Boxers can not give birth naturally...is this true?

:D Sorry to disappoint the know it all at work but my Boxer gave birth naturally.
Some Boxers can be prone to primary or secondary inertia and some can be exceptionally
slow whelpers (my bitch was a slow whelper).
But on the whole they are still natural whelpers....
Perhaps you can let your know it all know :D

Hi

Caesarians are the exception not the rule.  They sometimes need the odd injection during labour, as they can slow up a bit after a few pups, and of course they are high-waisted and the pups have quite big heads with blunt noses, which doesn't help.  But do not expect trouble as you probably won't get it.

From another boxer person, ive had boxers for almost twenty years now and only one of my girls had to have a c section on her second litter, her first litter she whelped without any complications, i wonder how many boxers this know it all has, plz let us know when you have told her she is so very wrong

- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 02.02.05 15:47 UTC
Apparently they were so inbred that they lost the ability to give birth naturally!
