Help?
I bought a little Lhasa on the 13th Jan who lives in Scarborough. I know her sire has won crufts and she said her husband will make his name ther this year with one she has just kept from this litter, but 6 days after getting the pup home she became ill. I have looked after her but ***** accused me (when she had back-end problems) of nearly killing her? on top of this I paid £500 for her as she said her's were the best and she has still not given me her papers? I have nothing at all for this pup?
I am awaiting a call back on this from Trading Standards, but she has been so horrible, the whole experience of buying a lovely pup has made me very depressed.
What should I do and can anyone please advise me of my rights as a customer. I was so wrapped up in her, they passed a dog pack to my mum and said the receipt and documents were enclosed and I didn't check as I was so in love with her? nothing in the pack though and when I call her and I have sent her several tex messages about the KC papers, she just ignores me or hangs up?
Help please....

The last Lhasa Apso to have ever 'won Crufts' (if you mean won Best in Show) was in 1984, so I doubt very much if he's still alive, let alone siring litters.

no i dont suppose it is to us being exhibitor's ,but the general public when buying a puppy think having mum or dad being placed at crufts makes there new puppythe cream of the crop

Making it out to be more than it is in fact, is misleading. Caveat emptor, as in most purchases.
True JG, but in this case I would think that the breeder has probably mentioned Crufts in conversation, and it has been taken out of context.
Thinking back I have very often mentioned the fact that so and so dog of mine has won or been placed at Crufts and forget that we know what we are talking about, but the purchaser wouldn't have a clue.
I do remember checking out a puppy farmer once with a litter of BT's and he was falling over himself to point out that written on the dogs Pedigree was the fact that it had gone BOB at a local show, completely false of course, as I knew the dog concerned!!!

And lets face it, even if he had, he could have been the only one there! :O
