Hi,
No i've not had this b****y baby :-D .Its messing me around, thought I was going to have by teatime yesterday but it changed in mind and not for the 1st time.Midwives rushed out 4 times for it change its mind, luckily its a planned homebirth :-).However its very frustrating as i've normally had mine my babies well before due dates nevermind always one has to be different.
The contractions kick in at at every 2 mins and last for 2 mins ,so when the midwives get a call its case oh blankety blank ive got to go Briony better wait for us ,usually their on another visit or middle of appointment or last case middle of night.
Then after a couple of hours absolutely nothing.
Im quite tired as it taking alot of me,and I getting over a heavy cold at the same time which I think going around the schools.Spent weekend in and out bed having contractions not having them.
This morning jumped out of bed perfectly fine and took the dogs for their walk, caught up on housework
and guess what NOTHING ive tried everything. However frustrating as it is im allowing 12 days over then be induced actual due date is this wed however midwives expect me to go before then and quickly famous last words.
Midwives are not allowing Alex away from the hose by more 10 mins just in case I go pop especially as its number 5 and I wasnt meant to take dogs for walk but im so BORED .
Any news im sure Alex will post,he tells me to let u all know my whelping box is alread cheeky s*d.
Regards Briony :-)

hI,
Hes here,all 8lb 2.
HE ARRIVED IN LESS THAN 2 HRS with no contraction pains until the end.I was just drying some towels
when i felt a pop just made it upstairs got Alex to call midwives arrived in 10 mins i was already 7cm gone without knowing although it took 45 mins to get him out normally only takes me 5 mins.
hes very lucky baby as there was a proper knot in the cord and fortunately for him it was above average in length ,one of thecauses of a still birth however we got him safely.NO BLOOD/FLUID TO BE SEEN no mess,no fuss i was even laughing during labour .rest of children just going to bed ,2 joined us after to meet their new brother.
we finished with coffee and mints.HE FED ALL NIGHT and slept most of morning.
we named him Harrison Trystan.
Alex said the whelping box can go away now til next time ,cheeky s~d.
Best Wishes,
Briony ;-)

Oh wow! That's amazing. I would never have been brave enough for a home birth! I also know to my families cost how dangerous a knotted cord can be. You were very lucky.
Good luck and best wishes to ALL the family!

The dogs bless them are sooooo good.
Amber sniffed Harrison oh another one I know about these from before.
Tia " " little excited tail wagging with a cheesy grin on her face and a knowing kind of
look .
Rhum " " Ran backwards when he cried and fell over bin not heard that sound before but im comming back to take a closer look.
Gundo " " With an old wisely look on his face ill protect u from the cat and so he does ,cat gets up Gundo gets up when and rumbles at cat ,cat left lounge Gundo returns to Harrison lies down next to his rocker head back on paws and all is well again such a gentle giant :-)
