hi can anyone help  i have a 9 week old pup and it has just started to wee in his sleep also when it does wee normally just after he starts to strain and nothing but drops of drops of reddish liquid comes out is there anyone point me in the right direction of what it might be please. im so worried

He sounds as if he has a urinary infection and even if it is Sunday tomorrow, get him to your vet for some antibiotics.

You are risking kidney problems if you delay going.

If it is an infection he may well have a temperature.  Is he eating OK? try encouraging him to drink plenty of water, if necessary put some glucose or sugar in it to encourage him.  Like humans with a urinary infection you need to keep the fluids flushing out the system.

took my dog troy to the vet this morning vet does not no what it is gave him a cathete in his penis and it was just blood got to wait for test results now gave me antibiotics and anti flammatory drugs.

At least as he is now on a/b's if any infection is present it will be keeping it under control.

he is a rottweiler got to wait till friday just hopeing he will be alright

had test results back today my pup has got cystitis but the vet wants him back saturday because she said its not normal 4 pups that young to have it also she said ther maybe problems with his pipe work and thats what is causing it

The symptoms sound similar to mine when I recently had a urinary infection. If he feels the same as I did, he's in agony. Call the vet now and get him examined and treated before the infection spreads to his kidneys (not far to go in a small puppy) and does possibly irreversible damage.
