How od I enable the 'smilies'?....got to learn to do them...then maybe I won't go upsetting guests!

I am a newbie so please forgive me for being a pain.
Could you explain how its done in more depth (you know for idiots) I have tried to do it but to no avail althought I was able to print out all the faces.

Hi there, just make the faces by following the instructions above ..so if you do a : followed by a D you will get :D

The list above just has gaps between the keys strokes ...copy them exactly on your keyboard but do NOT put the gaps in :)
