Topic Dog Boards / General / Vets Fees In Europe

Hi

As we're so close to the channel tunnel and our dogs have Pets passports I was just mulling over what vets fees were like in Northern Europe compared to the UK. I'm not really taking about general treatment, but about specialist operations that cost in the region of £1000+ in the UK.

I know I'm late to the conversation, but thought I should mention that I had a ligament replacement operation done in Holland for one of my dogs, it cost the equivalent of £400, in the UK it would of been £1500, plus it was my experience that the facilities and veterinary knowledge were far superior that the vets & specialists in this country.
