Can anybody tell me, when a dog is put under an control act for attacking a human. In this case aRussian Black and a sixteen yr old. Does it depend on the actul case as to how under control and how long it last, or is it the same in all cases. The dog down the road was put under acontrol act late 2003 or early 2004 and when i was out today with Kizzy andmy 2 yr old Grandson the so called owner was there with both his dogs of the lead and running quite away from him. We came home quickly but calmly so.s not to panic my Grandson or excite the dogs. Don't know weather this should be reported or not? Viv

Sorry I can't help as I don't know about the control act, but I would certainly find out because if it was me I would never forgive myself if this dog attacked anyone and I just stood by and did nothing. Perhaps someone will be along in a while that can help you.
