Well I'm in shock, I took one of the returned dogs that came back to breeder in October with 2 tickets to Manchester yesterday and made him up and I qualified my tailed gold junior bitch at her first champshow.

Talk about a repeat of last year, I made dakota up at the same show and qualified a tailed black bitch in junior too, father and son both got BOB and for a moment I thought the group judge was the same until my friend said NO Dr M Boggia Black was at Midland Counties 18mths ago with dakota, phewww that was getting tooo errie lol.

Have to admit that my bitch wouldn't have qaulified if it wasn't for my friend Claire Dennett as the breeder and myself now being joint owners of this dog, plus I have his daddie went to pedigree to claim our coffee needed it lol, I FORGOT all about having another dog to show!!!!!!!!!!  Thankfully Claire took her in for me and got a 3rd, I took over after my daughter had found me lol, once she'd moved her and Liz Cartledge the judge went Oh where did u come from and why weren't you showing her earlier my reply, well you see Judge someone gave my dog his 3rd CC and made him a champion so I needed a coffee at pedigree to calm me down!!!!!!!!!!  Well she cracked up, we'd had a bit of a do with the dog on the table as I'd got his age on my card and she commented on one so young needing help to remember, I explained how the dog had only been with me for a week and about my memory problems with my disease, she asked me what disease and I replied ermmmm motherhood, didn't want to get any agro from other exhibitors if I won, we had a chat about judging the day before at group level where the judge had to write down each dog and a little something to help remember them by.

When we won the class I'm not sure if she'd tried to tell me or she was just being silly coz she came up to me tapped me on the shoulder and said 'would you like to win this class?' I said if at all possible and got told to go stand at the front lol.  Realised in the group ring I was as deaf as a post when Dr Boggia Black told me to stand the dog off the table and I thought she'd said put your hand down!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not quite as good as you but I got a 2nd CC on my freinds dog who I bred and have handled for some years now, as he is 6.  funny thing was she didn't expect anything as he had cut his foot badly on Monday so we were unsure if he would stay completely sound.  Trouble is now there is just that thought a third could be possible, whereas she was perfectly happy for him to go to his grave with just one!  Have to find another judge who likes a no frills hard as nails sort of dog that looks like it can work all day.

Quest got a third in a good Post Graduate class.  Acer sadly didn't place in the 11 strong Open bitch class and missed the Veteran stakes, but Kizi managed fifth.  Lexi won both Junior and Post Graduate, and ehr brother won his class too.

Well done Schip! Was the dog you got made up a tailed one?

I'm still very tempted with a schip, love their attitude, but not sure if it is the right dog for the family. Obedience and all that!
