I'm off to a companion show tomorrow and i really would like to get a show lead,i know you can get them at the bigger shows but is it very likely i would be able to purchase one there ?

Oh-thats a shame -nevermind-Am i likely to find any shops that do?, I can't find any in my area,so i guess it would be at a bigger show or on-line if not,i have ordered a Luxaway catologe,Could you tell me if there are any other recommended places or sites please?I think my beagle would suit a rope type(think they may be called 'slip lead') I recently kept a lead of that type,when collecting a friends bitch from the vets (v.flimsy,think its a disposable one but it has the surgery name emblazened on it so i can't use it unfortunately,didn't wanna look cheap! and it's bright green !!!LOL) he responds well with it as he doesn't think he's off for a walk !!!!I also wondered if it would be better to get one a similar colour to his fur round his neck so it shows it off better ? what do u think ?many thanks

yes it's a slip lead.  It does look better if you get a lead that blends into the coat.  Luxway have a range, as do open and deffently champ shows.  most shops do bigger ones.  your freebee from the vets will work untill you get a "posher" one.

If you want to get a show lead you can go on the internet to a company call hide and collar and they sell them. They are hand made leather good quality and they are always at champ shows selling them. If you can't find them e-mail me and i will find the website address
