Ah no, I don't want to create a pedigree - I want to create a database :)

I dont know if this is the thing you are looking for. I use Breeders assistant, it produces a data base, genetics, in-breeding % quotients etc.
I use Breedmate, have had it for about 4 years now.
It is a little complicated when you first use it, but once you have worked it out, it is very easy to use.

Many Thanks,
Those are both the type of thing I am looking for - I have downloaded trial versions of both to see which I prefer.
:)
I use Breedmate too have a data base on it for both my breeds takes getting used to at first but have found it good .

To me, Breedmate Pedigree Explorer is the best. It might be dear but its worth it.

I use (and highly recommend) Breedmate Pedigree Explorer. I tried various others before (and since) I settled on this one years ago when it was in its infancy. It is constantly evolving and if you want a particular feature it is lacking the creator will generally programme it in. It will take a while for a new user to learn all of it but there is a yahoo list where some of us help the newer users to find their way around it.
