We got an 8 year old boxer from rescue on tuesday, we were told at the time she pees in the house when she is left alone so I'm looking for ideas to help her overcome this as its inevitable that she will have to be left sometimes, like this evening I had to take my son to his swimming lesson, she was left for an hour and when we got in she had done a pee, even though she'd been out before we left.
Thanks everyone :-)

Mine used to do this. It was down to seperation anxiety. I found that by getting him used to being left on his own (only when going to Tesco's or somewhere I cant take him) for short periods of time done the trick. I tried leaving him when I took the rubbish out, hung the washing out. That lead onto popping into neighbours for a brew for half an hour, then to leaving him for an hour to go shopping.
Start of for really short periods of time, getting a bit longer every few times. This it what it sounds like to me anyway.
HTH! :)
